Privacy Policy

SafeSale is a Shopify application operated by Dibbuhl. This policy explains what information SafeSale accesses, why it is used, and how it is handled.

Information SafeSale accesses

SafeSale requests access to product information required to manage product variant pricing. This can include product and variant identifiers, titles, prices, compare-at prices, and SafeSale-owned metafields used to record restore information. SafeSale also stores Shopify authentication and session information required to keep the app connected to an installed store.

SafeSale does not request access to customer records, customer contact information, or order data for its core pricing features.

How information is used

Store information is used only to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve SafeSale. Pricing restore data is used to return product variants to the values saved before SafeSale applied a sale.

Data sharing

Dibbuhl does not sell merchant or customer data. Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to host, operate, secure, or support SafeSale. Those providers receive only the information reasonably required to perform their services.

Data retention and deletion

SafeSale retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the app, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Shopify sends mandatory privacy and shop-redaction requests to SafeSale when applicable. Local shop session data is deleted in response to shop redaction. App-owned Shopify data is managed through Shopify and may also be removed as part of Shopify's app uninstall and data lifecycle processes.

Security

Dibbuhl uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information handled by SafeSale. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as SafeSale changes or as legal and platform requirements evolve. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
