Terms of Service

Effective October 5, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of SafeSale, a Shopify application operated by Dibbuhl. By installing or using SafeSale, you agree to these terms.

SafeSale service

SafeSale provides tools for changing Shopify product variant prices, recording pre-sale pricing state, and restoring saved pricing values. Optional storefront components can display sale information using Shopify theme app extensions.

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for reviewing selected products, discount settings, previews, and resulting storefront prices.
  • You are responsible for complying with pricing, advertising, tax, consumer-protection, and promotional laws that apply to your business.
  • You should test SafeSale on representative products before using it for a large promotion.
  • You must not use SafeSale to misrepresent discounts, reference prices, or savings to customers.

Restore protection

SafeSale is designed to save price state before applying a sale and to avoid overwriting later pricing edits during a normal restore. Software, Shopify APIs, themes, third-party apps, and merchant actions can still affect product data. You remain responsible for reviewing important pricing changes and maintaining appropriate business records or backups.

Availability and changes

SafeSale may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued as required to maintain security, compatibility, reliability, or business operations. Dibbuhl does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Fees

Any paid SafeSale plan is billed through Shopify using the pricing and billing terms shown to you in Shopify. Shopify handles applicable subscription approval and billing workflows.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dibbuhl is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of SafeSale. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Termination

You may stop using SafeSale by uninstalling the app. Dibbuhl may restrict or terminate access where necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, non-payment, or material violation of these terms.
